Speaking Out: Keeping my faith after high school

Post-secondary life is an opportunity to put your faith to the test, leading to a more mature relationship with God, writes Youth Speak News' Breanna Azevedo.

Staying connected to my faith has always been easy for me. During my high school years at Holy Name of Mary College School, I attended mandatory Mass once a month, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and participated in faith-related reflections for class.

During his address, Obama mentioned his s hift in policy toward Cuba, quoting Pope Francis, who said diplomacy is the work of "small steps."

WASHINGTON - In his Jan. 20 State of the Union address, President Barack Obama hit on numerous themes that resonated with Catholic advocates for social justice issues.
