Christian lawyers threatened by new law society requirement

At issue is a new mandatory requirement by the Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC) compelling all its members to 鈥渃reate and abide by鈥� a statement of principles which promotes equality, diversity and inclusion.

OTTAWA 鈥� The Ontario law society has gone too far by compelling lawyers to submit a 鈥減olitically correct鈥� statement of principles that may 鈥渙verride core Christian beliefs,鈥� said the president of the Catholic Civil Rights League.

Ontario court rules against Trinity Western University law school accreditation
