Bishop says Turkish Catholics fearful after attacks, but can count on government

Friends and relatives of Elias Wardini, a Lebanese man killed in a gun attack on the Reina nightclub in Istanbul, mourn during his Jan. 3 funeral Mass at the Church of Our Lady in Beirut. At least 39 people were killed and dozens wounded in the New Year's Eve attack on the nightclub.

OXFORD, England – A church leader in Turkey said Catholics are fearful about attending church after recent terrorist attacks, but insisted local Christians can count on government protection.
