SSPX bishop excommunicated — again — for illicit ordination

In 2009, Pope Benedict XVI lifted traditionalist Bishop Richard WilliamsonöÏÓãÊÓƵapp 1988 excommunication from the Catholic church. On Mar. 19, 2015, Williamson was excommunicated automatically for ordaining a bishop without papal approval, Fr. Jean-Michel Faure, who was also excommunicated. A traditionalist bishop who has denied the Holocaust has been automatically excommunicated along with the priest he illicitly ordained a bishop.
