St. Padre PioöÏÓãÊÓƵapp story still touching lives as thousands in Toronto venerate his relics

Thousands came to St. Philip Neri Parish in Toronto Sept. 18-19 to venerate the relics of tSt. Padre Pio. The saint, pictured above, bore the pain of the stigmata for 50 years.

Fr. Louis Mousseau was a 21-year-old seminarian with the Capuchin Friars when he met 81-year-old St. Padre Pio in 1968, just three months before the death of the legendary priest.

Religious sister who worked with Padre Pio dies at 101

SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO, Italy – Sister Consolata di Santo, one of the first religious sisters to work in the hospital developed by St. Padre Pio, died March 2 at age 101, according to the Italian publication Avvenire.

Padre PioöÏÓãÊÓƵapp body leaves the Vatican after drawing thousands of pilgrims

VATICAN CITY - The body of one of ItalyöÏÓãÊÓƵapp favourite saints, Padre Pio, has left the Vatican, carried out in a distinctive crystal coffin after nearly a week on display inside St. PeteröÏÓãÊÓƵapp Basilica as part of the Jubilee of Mercy.
