While many are emerging to a sense of normalcy after two years years of dark clouds and closures due to the pandemic, many parents have been left with ongoing concerns for their children������Ƶapp mental health and wellbeing.

With all that today������Ƶapp parents have to do, how is it possible to go about the mammoth task of parenting the media?

As keynote of the Ontario Association of Parents in Catholic Education (OAPCE) conference, broadcaster Kevin Frankish began his session with a simple question: “How are you doing?”

“I am enough” is a mantra I’ve carried close to my heart these last few years. Brené Brown taught me about being enough with her meditations on the Gifts of Imperfection. Parenthood forced me to acknowledge both what I cannot do and how to show up imperfectly for my kids. And I have been teetering for the last several weeks on an edge of enough I had not seen before.

If we can teach children the importance of sharing and tidying up through a cheerful song on a TV show, then why can’t we use this same medium to teach them about the faith?
